Speak to a travel agent in Tulsa

Three ways in, each with a job. You can speak to a travel agent in Tulsa for a question you can ask in a sentence, or write instead when the question has dates in it.

Trips run $1,640 to $3,640 per person, and nothing on this page costs you anything.

Three ways in

Three ways in, and each one is built for a different kind of question. You can speak to a travel agent in Tulsa when the thing you want to know fits inside a sentence, or put it in writing when it carries dates, names and a figure. Nothing here asks you for a card, and nothing here starts a booking.

Spoken questions. Which of the five steps a trip sits on, whether a date is still open, what a figure covers. Nobody on this line takes a card number or asks for one.

Anything with dates, names or a figure attached. Written questions get a written answer, which means you keep the wording instead of remembering it.
landward@driftwoodchronicle.com
Corrections. A wrong price, a step that does not match the walk described, a broken link, a spelling of your own name we got wrong on a figure already sent.

The split is not decoration. A telephone answer is fast and gone; a written answer sits in your inbox and can be read again in October when you have forgotten what the March conversation settled. Use the line for the quick thing and the desk address for the thing you will want to check later. Corrections go to their own address so they do not sit behind twelve quote requests, because a wrong number on a page costs somebody a decision.

Where the office is

Driftwood Chronicle Bookings LLC keeps one office, at 2431 East 61st Street, Suite 415, Tulsa, OK 74136. It is a working office and not a counter: there is no window display, no rack of folders and nobody standing by the door. This form takes booking requests 24/7, and nothing on it closes. If you want to come in person, write or call first and we will agree on a time, because the person who knows your file may be on the phone with an operating company in another time zone when you arrive.

The address is also where mail goes if you would rather send paper. Paper is slower by several days and adds nothing, but people occasionally prefer it and there is no reason to argue.

One thing the office cannot do, in person or otherwise: it does not run any of these trips. Driftwood Chronicle books with the companies that operate them, and those companies hold the boats, the beds and the permits. When you ask us a question about a specific departure, we may have to ask them and come back to you. That relay is why a figure takes longer than a question.

Have these three to hand before you write

Have a month, or two months you could live with. Not exact dates, unless you have them. The five steps behave very differently across a season, and the trips at the far end of the list, the ones with no road, run on water schedules that shrink in some months and stop in others. Naming a month lets us tell you straight away whether the thing you are looking at exists then.

Have a number of people and their ages if anybody is under eighteen. Room arrangements and boat manifests both turn on this, and it changes a per person figure more than almost anything else you could tell us.

Have a sense of how far in you want to be. That is what this whole list is sorted by. Some people know immediately that they want the car to stop where they sleep; others want the four or five hours in and the arrival day spent arriving. If you do not know, say so and we will work through how a booking is put together with you on the telephone in about ten minutes.

Things this desk never requests

No card number, no bank details, no account credentials. There is nothing on this website that takes a payment and nobody here will ask you to pay us. The operating company collects from you directly, on its own terms, and we are paid a commission by that company after you have traveled. That arrangement is written out in full on the questions people actually ask and it does not change based on which trip you pick.

No passport number, no visa question, no insurance question. Those three sit outside what this office does and we will say so plainly rather than guess at an answer that could cost you.

No social security number, no medical history, no assessment from us about whether you personally should attempt a given walk or crossing. We will tell you the distance, the surface, the carry and the schedule, in writing, and what you do with that is yours to decide.

You will not find a printed timetable of attendance anywhere on this site. That is deliberate: an hour painted on a door tells you when somebody is in a room, which is not the thing you need. What you need is when an answer lands. The form itself takes booking requests 24/7 and never shuts, and what arrives through it reaches a person and is looked at before that working day is out. Putting a number on a trip is slower and runs to two to four working days, since it means writing to whoever owns the beds and waiting for them to write back. Nobody here invents a figure to fill the gap.

If you are ready to put dates against a trip, the form below reaches the same desk as the written address and gets the same answer. what cancellation costs covers what happens if plans change later.

Nothing here is a booking, and no figure is held by sending it. This form takes booking requests 24/7, and nothing on it closes.

What you send is read the same working day by a person. Pricing it out is slower and runs to two to four working days, since the company that owns the beds replies on its own clock. Nothing on this form wants a card, now or later.
